Long overdue music update.

David Guetta's hit single Baby When the Light featuring Cozi Costi

Does every Guetta video have to have lots of women dancing? The main girl is some model winner from a model search reality show apparently.
Cozi has such a cute voice, search hard enough and you will find a clip of her doing the song 'live.' Her MySpace page also has a few good songs I enjoyed.

Queens Of The Stone Age - Make It Wit Chu (No embedding.)
Presenting the third single from QOTSA's Era Vulgaris album.

I was pretty disappointed at the Era Vulgaris album, really felt it was a step back. My understanding is that the leader singer Josh was in a poor (angry) state of mind when they were recording the album. I really felt that came out with most of the album moving towards more of a thrash sound. I like their older stuff, has a groovier feel to it, ya dig?

The Killers - Shadowplay

To the centre of the city where all roads meet, waiting for you
To the depths of the ocean where all hopes sank, searching for you
Moving through the silence without motion, waiting for you
In a room without a window in the corner I found truth

This is actually a cover of
a 1979 Joy Division song called Shadowplay, from the album Unknown Pleasures. I actually like the modern take much better. Not a fan of The Killers, but this they did a good job here. Ok, that isn't the official video, this one is. The official video doesn't allow embedding, which really takes away the flow of this blog. Check it out still, it pays homage to Joy Division and is a decent watch.
